Our most recent HPS Roundtable in Tampa was a resounding success! From February 6th to 8th, the vibrant city of Tampa played host to a gathering of 40 HPS members and staff, along with 10 virtual attendees, for an unforgettable few days of learning, networking, and camaraderie.
The Barrymore Hotel, situated on the picturesque Riverwalk, provided the perfect backdrop for this dynamic event. We took a deep-dive into a wide range of critical topics that are shaping the future of our specialty, including:
- Clinical Excellence: Dr. Chad Aleman presented valuable insights into Early Interventions for VLU’s, while Dr. Eric Phillippi shared his expertise on the art of treating hemorrhoids.
- The Future of Our Specialty: Dr. Chris Pittman offered a thought-provoking vision for the future of the vein specialty, sparking insightful discussions among attendees.
- Data-Driven Success: Cassandra Wilcoxson guided us through the process of leveraging our EMR data to gain valuable insights and improve patient care.
- Marketing Mastery: Brooke Arnold and Ashley Ball led engaging sessions on essential marketing strategies, including lead management, physician liaison strategies, and optimizing conversion rates.

Another highlight of the Roundtable was the exciting launch of the 3Hearts Compression brand, a significant milestone for the HPS team. MyAdvice was on location with video equipment recording short videos for members to use on their websites and social media. And, Mindray was there demonstrating their newest ultrasound machine.

Attendees will receive 8 hours of continuing education credits, in addition to many more invaluable opportunities such as:
- Community Building: Connecting with colleagues from across the country, sharing experiences, and fostering lasting professional relationships.
- Peer Support: Finding solutions to common challenges, gaining valuable perspectives from experienced practitioners, and building a strong support network within the HPS community.
- Idea Exchange: Engaging in lively discussions, brainstorming innovative approaches to clinical, marketing, and operational challenges, and exploring new avenues for growth and improvement.

Our members always leave a Roundtable with a wealth of new ideas and strategies to implement in their own vein practices, and this one was no exception.
The social events were equally memorable. Thursday night’s welcome dinner, generously sponsored by Methapharm/Asclera, set the tone for a fantastic few days of camaraderie and networking. Friday night, BD Venclose and MyAdvice hosted a delightful dinner, further strengthening the bonds within our community.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our generous sponsors: BD Venclose, Methapharm/Asclera, MyAdvice, HUB International, Lympha Press, Mindray, Sarc MedIQ, Duzer Group, Hybrent, and Medline. The support of our vendors was instrumental in making this event a success.
The HPS Roundtable events are more than just conferences; this was an invigorating experience that left members feeling inspired, informed, and equipped to excel in their vein practice. We’re already looking forward to the next one later this year!
