“My name is Dr. Thomas Eidson, DO in Arlington, TX. I own Atlas Vein Care which my wife and I founded in 2016. We recently changed EMR to Athena, and with the help of Cassandra, Dr. Pittman, and other members of HPS (Dr. Barry Oswalt), it went about as smoothly as one could think an EMR change could be.
Bottom line… change is hard, and changing EMR and billing is about as hard as it can get in the medical world.
