“Cassandra, I wanted to thank you deeply from the bottom of my heart for your help in our Athena Health onboarding process. Truly, I don’t know what we would’ve done or where we’d be without you.
Your time, patience, and commitment to helping our practice is invaluable.
I don’t know if I can say it enough; thank you, thank you, thank you.
You’re a ROCKSTAR.”
“Cassandra,
I want to just say thank you, thank you from the depths of my soul for your help with the Athena transition. We still have a way to go to be anything like y’all but we are much better off with you in our corner and in on our side. You even answered my calls in the early evenings.. AMAZING. You are a blessing to us, Dr. Pittman, and all of HPS. Thank you.

To Anyone Who Will Listen:
I must give kudos to HPS group, Dr. Chris Pittman, Cassandra and Scot.
My name is Dr. Thomas Eidson, DO in Arlington, TX. I own Atlas Vein Care which my wife and I founded in 2016. We recently changed EMR to Athena, and with the help of Cassandra, Dr. Pittman, and other members of HPS (Dr. Barry Oswalt), it went about as smoothly as one could think an EMR change could be.
Bottom line… change is hard, and changing EMR and billing is about as hard as it can get in the medical world. Dr. Pittman and his team went above and beyond in supporting not just me, but
my entire team during that stressful time. We are now seeing increased % collections and decreased A/R times. I can now better plan my business moves with more predictable cash
flow.
HPS is also wonderful because of the network of other INDEPENDENT docs and practices throughout the country sharing best practices and challening one another to get better. Not to mention the negotiated savings on other services and disposables and equipment vital to practicing medicine.
Thank you so very much for all your help and support.
Here is to many, many more years or independent practice and stomping out vein disease.

I truly believe that being part of HPS is the only way we can stay afloat as an independent practice to be able to compete with bigger groups and hospital practices.

Almost 2 years ago, I began the journey and transition from general surgery into the vein world. I met Dr. Christopher Pittman and had a long discussion with him regarding my new adventure and transition. If it weren’t for HPS I would still be trying to figure out what table to use for my procedure room, what EMR to use, how to do all of my payor contracts, and everything involved with treatment diagnosis and assessment in a vein practice.
HPS has helped me in so many ways I can’t count. Through HPS I learn the proper procedure for each patient diagnosis that I come across. If I have questions regarding my patient care, HPS provides the experience in a very quick fashion so that I can treat my patients appropriately. Basically, HPS has saved me years of experience and years of time in beginning my venture into the vein world. I now have a successful vein practice in a very short time all due to HPS.

Comprehensive Vein CareThe power of an association like Health Performance Specialists (HPS) is the opportunity to learn from the experience of other practices. We have found the comparative information about operations, financials, and market development to be invaluable. We have also learned quite a bit about the evolution of vein treatment and what future trends may affect our practice.

Trident Vein CenterJoining Health Performance Specialists has transformed our practice. Before integrating their options, I had to spend countless hours researching EMR capabilities and ways to improve our revenue cycle. My staff and I spent a lot of time negotiating with vendors to be able to be competitive with the saturated market that we have in the area as well as the decrease in reimbursements by the insurance companies and increasing prices in supplies. The network meets monthly to discuss problems that we have with running the practice like the increase in insurance companies denials on claims has helped our practice to tackle them before this happens saving time and money to the practice.
Lee Dragoonis has been a great asset to the HPS team. He has been on top of everything and helped out our practice to improve workflow, and increase our productivity as well as negotiate with vendors, and look into adding new technologies that improve patient care as well as improve the flow in your practice.
I truly believe that being part of HPS is the only way we can stay afloat as an independent practice to be able to compete with bigger groups and hospital practices.

Florida Vein CenterBehind the Curtain: A Vein Doctor’s Journey of Self-Improvement
I recently had the privilege of attending an enlightening “roundtable” conference with my peers in Fort Worth, Texas. This event, coordinated by Health Performance Specialists (HPS), not only showcased the latest advancements in varicose vein treatment and venous disease management but also reinforced the power of community in our specialized field.
